They serve as a testament, to the strenght of the filipino spirit. and the values og honor, integrity and partiotism, this day serves as a remider of the cost of war and the importance of preserving the peaces and unity of our nation 

April 9th, holds a very special place as Araw ng Kagitingan, or Day of Valow. It is a day of commemorating the heroic acts and sacrifices of filipino soldiers druing one of the darkest periods our nation's past. 

The importances of Araw ng kagitingan go above historical observance, this symbolizes the ruthless spirit of the filipino people.  despite the unimaginable hardships, from starvationand disease to the burtality of the war, our sodiers, stood frim,  showing the courage and resilience in the defense of our homeland, 

In honoring the legacy of our brave soldiers, Araw ng Kagitingan fosters a sense of national pride and solidarity among Filipinos. It serves as a call to action for us to uphold the ideals for which they fought and to strive towards a future where their sacrifices are never forgotten.
